Description:
Prepares products for delivery to customers by packing products in cartons and labeling cartons. Duties:
Sets up station by receiving packing orders, gathering packing materials, and notifying material handlers for required materials. Approves products for shipment by visually inspecting products for deficiencies. Packs cartons by folding cartons, following prescribed arrangements, and placing products in cartons. Finishes cartons by sealing openings and affixing shipping labels. Prepares pallets by following prescribed stacking arrangements and tagging pallets. Documents actions by completing logs. Maintains a safe work environment by following standards and procedures. Completes related tasks to support manufacturing and organizational goals. Skills/Qualifications:
