Key Responsibilities

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals with strict adherence to safety protocols.

Calibrate and operate gamma cameras, SPECT‑CT, and related imaging modalities to acquire high‑quality images that support precise diagnoses.

Perform quality control checks, ensure dosimetry and radiation safety compliance, and maintain meticulous documentation of procedures, doses, and image data.

Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to drive efficient patient flow, accurate reporting, and timely communication of results.

Assess patient needs, explain procedures, and provide reassurance to individuals who may be anxious, demonstrating empathy and clinical expertise.

Stay current with advances in nuclear medicine, participate in continuing education, and potentially expand into advanced imaging techniques, quality improvement initiatives, and specialized protocols.
