and .**Senior Acoustics and Audio System Engineer – ANC, Augmented Hearing****Location**Belgium, Leuven (Onsite)**Summary and Responsibilities**We are looking for a passionate engineer to develop robust control systems for acoustic environments around hearing enhancement and active noise cancellation.You will participate to measurements/data acquisition, system design, implementation and tuning of adaptive and deep learning models for **very low latency noise control and hearing enhancement** applications in ANC hearables and hearing aids. You will join a multidisciplinary team of ML scientists, acoustics and DSP engineers, working on technologies that improve people’s lives thanks to audio capture, hearing enhancement, and personalized rendering in real-world devices.**Preferred Qualifications*** **Advanced DSP:** Design, implement, and optimize **Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms**, including **adaptive filtering** and **Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)**, focusing on low-power, real-time performance on embedded systems.* **Transducer Control:** Develop and validate **real-time speaker control and protection algorithms** to enhance acoustic output and ensure long-term reliability.* **Algorithm Prototyping:** Proficiency in algorithm development and simulation using **Python** or **MATLAB**, with the ability to swiftly port and validate code on **real-time hardware platforms**.* **Acoustic Validation:** Hands-on experience with **acoustic prototyping** and experimentation, including the use of **anechoic chambers** and professional **audio/acoustic measurement tools**.* **Critical Listening:** Excellent **listening skills** for the critical diagnosis and correction of issues in product sound quality.**Minimum Qualifications*** Advanced Degree: MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Vibrations, Applied Math, or equivalent.* 3+ years of relevant experience#LI-BF1*For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export
