Position Overview Sunflower Communities – Elmore Assisted Living is seeking three dedicated
Lead Caregivers
to join our compassionate care team. We are hiring one lead for each shift —
Day, Evening, and Overnight
— to provide hands‑on care, support our residents, and mentor team members. The Lead Caregiver ensures residents receive consistent, person‑centered care while maintaining a warm and positive community environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, individualized care to residents in an assisted living setting
Lead and mentor caregiving staff during assigned shifts, ensuring a smooth flow of care
Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication support
Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere for residents and staff
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Complete accurate documentation and assist with administrative and shift transition tasks
Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
Qualifications
Previous caregiving or healthcare experience required;
CNA certification preferred
Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and support a team
Compassionate, patient, and reliable
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities
Experience in assisted living, memory care, or behavioral health is a plus
