This position is responsible for coding and designing our middleware and web applications, both internal and external-facing. This position needs to have working knowledge of the operations and systems that Hershey Entertainment and Resorts uses, so that the programming work can provide tangible business objectives with an understanding of what is needed from the operations.

Job Duties
Analyze business application requirements and build functional digital applications that meet business needs for the organization. Translate needs into fully-functional applications for the Web. Design, program, test, implement, and maintain.
Maintain and monitor systems and software that support day to day operations. Conduct testing, and gather data to detect errors or interference with workflow. Implement changes to code or installation to correct errors.
Assist with other development projects as needed.
Find efficiency opportunities within the business by building applications to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Relevant work experience can be substituted for education - 9 years.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of JAVA, Xpages, or SSRS is advantageous, but not required.
