You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding activities or issues as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents. Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and general information as needed. Follow all company and client site protocols while on duty. Minimum Requirements
A guard card or security license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws is required; Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law. Drug screen required where permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
