Sample Room Coordinator
Location: Lowville, NY

Responsibilities
Inventory Management and Control – maintain warehouse of 1400+ SKUs, reordering & replenishment, stocking shelves, warehousing, and daily/monthly/quarterly inventory reports.
Processing outbound customer orders – pull items, cut down items, package for shipment.
Domestic & International Shipping – track shipments, maintain daily shipping reports, perform end‑of‑day closing procedures, and communicate with the shipping department for outbound sample room shipments.
Receiving inbound deliveries – communicate with the shipping department, receive and track inbound deliveries.
Product Knowledge – conduct incoming quality inspections and report non‑conformance to the Quality/Technical Manager.
Sample Tool Production – cut down, label, collate, and bind sample tools per Neenah Marketing standards; produce promotional folders and books in‑house.
Marketing Support – assist product launch campaigns, tradeshows, sample card production, custom presentations, trademark registration maintenance, catalog finished samples, and proto‑lab coverage.
Purchasing Supplies – create new stock numbers, enter requisitions, and manage costs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred or related experience.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle, and PowerPoint.
Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
Self‑motivated; able to work independently and with a team.
Ability to lift up to 60–70 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to multi‑task and use a lightweight hand truck.
Time‑sensitive position requiring 100% accuracy.
Proficiency with word, excel, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, and keyboard skills.
Understanding of Oracle.
Effective communication with customer service, sales & marketing, and manufacturing across multiple Mativ locations on a daily basis.
Flexibility to adapt to constant change, last‑minute and frequent order requests.
