Assistant General Manager (Project Management)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead day‑to‑day operations and management of the business in the absence of the General Manager Provide excellent customer service Manage and train all marina employees Manage maintenance work done throughout the facility to ensure safe and acceptable property and equipment, as well as esthetic appearance Manage sales, facilities, and guest relations effectively Sustain and optimize profitability, performance and guest satisfaction Assist General Manager with budgets, inventory control, and accounting principles of business Maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and local authorities Comply with OSHA, EPA, DEEP and Department of Labor rules and regulations Other duties as assigned by Manager Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately Technical and Physical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred 5 years’ relevant experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office CMM certification a plus Experience with budgets, salary administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable and slip leasing Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Any skills considered standard that an Assistant General Manager should possess Minimum Soft Skills Qualifications
