JOB SUMMARY Village Health Care is seeking a
Van Driver
to safely, timely, and reliably transport residents to and from appointments and the center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintain safe and courteous motor vehicle operation in compliance with applicable laws.
Perform safe transfer of residents from bed to chair, chair to bed.
Perform safe loading and unloading of residents to and from transport van.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safe operation of the vehicle.
Report vehicle accidents, traffic citations, or incidents immediately and complete required reports.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE
Required: Valid driver’s license and has an acceptable driving record
Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant licensure.
