"Working at Aqueduct is very rewarding as I get to work alongside people who share my passion for animals. We all support one another just as much as we support the pets in our care." – Brittney G. Kennel Manager
About the Opportunity We are looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian as an additional doctor for the Aqueduct team.
Aqueduct Animal Hospital remains an independent beacon in an increasing corporate world.
This opening is due to our steady, continued growth stemming from the local community’s respect for our medicine and our client care. Dr. Pike is also looking to take a step back from clinical practice and focus on managing this great practice and staff. For the right applicant who sees Aqueduct as their new home and who we see as a good fit with our team,
we will be highly competitive on compensation . The position is eligible for our robust benefits package all the details of which we’d be excited to discuss with you!
“Thanks to an amazing marketing team, excellent service, and loyal clients, we’ve bucked industry trends and can offer you excellent pay, benefits, and a strong standard of living. Adding the right associate now allows us to grow while allowing me to focus on practice leadership—so you’ll have mentorship, collaboration, and plenty of cases in a positive, well-equipped environment. Ready to thrive with us? Let’s talk!” –Dr. Pike, Owner
About the Team Our DVMs work closely with their dedicated team of technicians and assistants with a 1:1 ratio of LVT:DVM and a 2:1 ratio of Assistants:DVM. Our clients praise the hard-working, family-like atmosphere in the building.
“As a small animal practice, Aqueduct has spent decades providing top-notch wellness, diagnostics, and medical care. Our reputation for excellence is matched by the genuine teamwork within our walls—where every veterinarian is supported, valued, and pushed to be excellent!”- Dr. Johnson
About You You are a practicing veterinarian, licensed, and in good standing with the State of New York!
Additionally, you are committed to practicing high-quality, evidence-based medicine and could consider yourself a lifetime learner. If you have specific clinical interests, that is wonderful; we are always looking to expand the spectrum of services the hospital is able to offer to its clients. You are patient with pet owners, even the cranky ones, and generally have a sunny disposition in the exam room and treatment areas.
Our team is very collaborative , so if you naturally like to teach others, that is excellent too. In terms of your clinical experience, we are flexible: new grads are welcome as are seasoned veterans of the profession.
