is seeking a
full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian
to join their team in
Las Vegas, NV . The ideal candidate will have a
DVM degree , proficiency in
small animal medicine , and experience in
urgent care
settings. Position Highlights:
ONLY Urgent Care
– no wellness services. No abdominal surgeries
performed. Fear-Free Approach
and
Feline Friendly Practice . Strong Technical Team & Support . Brand new, modern hospitals
with
state-of-the-art equipment . Flexible Schedule , with
Swing/Second Shift
opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
Provide
urgent care
to small animals, including
physical examinations ,
diagnostics , and
treatment . Administer medications and fluids
to stabilize patients. Consult with clients
about their pets’ health and treatment options. Maintain
accurate medical records
for all patients. Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach . Collaborate
with the clinical team and leadership to provide the best possible care. Encourage growth of support staff
through internal training programs. Manage a
varied caseload , including
surgeries and appointments
during operating hours. Qualifications:
DVM/VMD degree
from an AVMA-accredited college (or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program). 1-3 years of experience
working in an urgent care setting preferred. Proficiency in
small animal medicine . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Ability to work
independently
and as part of a
team . Active
state license
in good standing (or ability to obtain). Benefits:
