What we’re seeking: The Vulnerability Management Analyst will report to the Manager of Vulnerability Management and will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and tracking vulnerabilities across enterprise systems. As part of a cross-functional security team, you will collaborate with IT Operations and Cybersecurity teams to ensure timely remediation and risk reduction. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools, and the ability to communicate findings effectively. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to our Dallas, TX location to complete your work responsibilities.
What we need in you: What you’ll do:
Perform vulnerability scans and review assessment reports to identify potential risks
Prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, and business impact
Collaborate with IT and application teams to validate findings and coordinate remediation efforts
Maintain and update vulnerability management processes and runbooks
Advise on configuration of scanning tools and recommend improvements for coverage and accuracy
Monitor threat intelligence for emerging vulnerabilities and assess organizational exposure
Generate tickets and track remediation progress through closure
Identify opportunities for automation and orchestration in vulnerability management workflows
Maintain technical currency and continuously strengthen skills in vulnerability assessment and risk management

What background you should have:
In-depth knowledge of vulnerability management concepts, risk assessment, and remediation strategies
2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or related field
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7) and reporting
Understanding of common vulnerabilities, exploits, and threat vectors
Working knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, FW, IPS, SOAR, WAF, and cloud security
Experience with automation (PowerShell, Python, APIs) for vulnerability workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI)
Education:
BA/BS in a relevant technology discipline or equivalent experience
