As a
Security Officer - Utilities Patrol Monitor PT
in
Riviera Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in utilities and other industries. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will conduct regular driving patrols and monitor assigned areas to deter security-related incidents. You will bring a visible presence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to customer service. You will join a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity-driven teamwork.

Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the utilities location to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Observe and report suspicious, unsafe, or irregular activity encountered during patrols or on post.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, addressing questions or concerns related to security matters.
Document incidents and daily activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years of security-related experience required.
A valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
