The Opportunity We’re hiring an
NPD Manufacturing Engineer – Machining
to support our New Product Development team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of CNC machining and automation processes from development through launch, working closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturable, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Develop and optimize CNC machining processes
Create machining programs, setup sheets, and cycle times
Support multi-axis CNC setup and troubleshooting
Lead DFM reviews and support new process launches
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement fixes
Support quality and capability studies (GR&R, SPC, PPAP)
Contribute to robotic and automation development
Identify automation and lights-out opportunities
Mentor technicians and junior engineers
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams
What You Bring
5–7 years of CNC machining experience
CAM programming and G-code proficiency
Multi-axis CNC machining experience
Blueprint reading and GD&T skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Experience improving quality, scrap, or efficiency
Ability to mentor and work cross-functionally
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Bonus:
Automation or robotics experience
