Job Summary/Basic Functions The Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning (FCT&L) is searching for students to join the FCT&L for Spring 2026. Through a variety of responsibilities, the FCT&L Student Consultant will contribute to creating a welcoming, informative, and supportive environment that emphasizes the unique needs and success of EKU. As a FCT&L Student Consultant, you will gain hands‑on experience in educational support services, technology assistance, event coordination, administrative functions, and research. This position is ideal for students who are passionate about higher education, instructional technology, communication, or faculty/staff engagement.

Minimum Qualifications Experience:

Must be enrolled at EKU and eligible for Institutional or Federal Work-Study (IWS/FWS) funding. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A genuine interest in supporting and advocating for the needs of students, faculty, and staff.

Job Duties

25% – Provide guidance on available resources and services within the Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning. – (Essential)

25% – Help organize and facilitate faculty development workshops, sessions, or special events. – (Essential)

25% – Develop marketing materials, social media content, and newsletters to promote resources and events. – (Essential)

25% – Support research projects related to teaching, learning, and development. – (Essential)
