What this job involves The Workplace Ambassador is a vital front-line role within JLL's Experience Services team, serving as the cornerstone of exceptional workplace experiences that create lasting value for our clients. As an "expert who creates value through lasting partnerships," you'll deliver hospitality-driven service that sets the standard for superior client experiences. This dynamic position combines professional reception operations with proactive workplace support, ensuring every employee, guest, and visitor receives seamless service from arrival through departure. You'll partner closely with Workplace, Facilities, and service teams to maintain a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment that reflects JLL's commitment to excellence. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact client satisfaction while developing versatile skills in hospitality, operations, and workplace services.
What your day-to-day will look like
Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests with warm, professional service while managing check-in processes, security badging, and wayfinding according to site protocols
Maintain polished front desk operations including managing incoming calls, messages, general inquiries, and providing information about workplace services and building amenities
Conduct regular floor walkthroughs to ensure workplace areas are properly stocked, orderly, and aligned with established service standards
Restock supplies across pantry areas, snack stations, copier centers, and general materials while supporting light room resets for meeting and conference spaces
Submit work orders and communicate maintenance, cleaning, or technical issues to appropriate teams while providing supplemental support during low-traffic periods
Anticipate employee and guest needs by proactively offering solutions and maintaining clear communication through verbal and written channels
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service coordination while supporting meeting and event needs as directed
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, workplace services, or office support roles
Demonstrated ability to engage professionally and confidently with employees and guests at all organizational levels
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with proven ability to manage shifting priorities in fast-paced environments
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic workplace management systems
Physical ability to lift 15-30 pounds for routine stocking and facility support tasks
Reliable, team-oriented professional who can work independently while maintaining composure during high-traffic periods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with commitment to hospitality-focused service standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in corporate office environments or commercial real estate workplace services
Basic knowledge of facility operations, maintenance procedures, and workplace technology systems
Event coordination or meeting support experience in professional settings
Familiarity with visitor management systems and security protocols
Customer service training or hospitality certifications
Experience with work order management systems and interdepartmental coordination
Understanding of workplace culture development and employee engagement principles
Location NYC - Onsite
Work Shift Standard business hours - M to F, 9 am to 6 pm

Estimated compensation for this position 55,000.00 - 60,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
