Overview Medtronic is seeking an Affera Mapping Specialist to work remotely, residing within the territory and traveling to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 25% of the time are required.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the ED mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.

Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures.

Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products.

Support national, regional and territorial sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals.

Develop and cultivate customer relationships to generate incremental business.

Collaborate with Account Managers, Regional Managers and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.

Conduct customer training for mapping and other CA solutions products.

Communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.

Represent Medtronic CAS products, service and support to physicians and support staff.

Serve as a regional champion sharing best‑practice mapping technology knowledge.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in cardiac mapping and navigation, OR

Associate degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, OR

Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

B.A./B.S. in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with at least 4 years in the cardiac field.

Proven track record with technical training assignments.

Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.

Additional Job Requirements

Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.

Must be within assigned territory daily to respond to unscheduled needs.

May require travel outside of territory and overnight stays.

Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; driving 25–50% of the time.

Ability to use computer equipment, stand/sit/walk for 8 hours/day.

Travel up to 25% of the time.

Benefits & Compensation Salary range for U.S. locations: $145,000 – $155,000. Eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). Benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other standard offerings. See Medtronic careers site for full details.
