Responsibilities
Design, develop, and refine electrical systems for autonomous vehicles, including power distribution, signal processing, and safety systems.
Collaborate closely with R&D and Engineering teams to implement innovative electrical solutions that enhance product performance and reliability.
Perform electrical system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
Support the design and development of electrical prototypes, including wiring, connectors, and control systems.
Create, update, and maintain comprehensive electrical documentation such as schematics, datasheets, and operating manuals.
Identify and resolve electrical issues in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of two years of experience in electrical systems, robotics, or related engineering disciplines.
Proficiency in electrical circuit design and analysis.
Basic programming experience with Python and other high-level programming languages.
Experience with embedded programming using microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino-based MCUs).
Proficiency with Altium Designer for PCB design and Cadence for circuit design and simulation.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP-based communication and data exchange using TCP/IP and UDP protocols.
Knowledge of electrical components, wiring practices, and safety standards, particularly for marine or ruggedized applications.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Preferred
Experience with industry electrical systems and standards.
Familiarity with power management and control systems.
Familiarity with environmental sealing and ruggedized electronics.
Hands‑on experience with field testing and willingness to participate in outdoor environmental trials.
Eligibility for U.S. Government security clearance.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally 2-3 times yearly 10%-15%.
Salary Range:
$80,000 – $100,000
