This role focuses on integrating data from diverse source systems into our modern platforms—including the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Mesh, and ODS —ensuring accuracy, compliance, and usability.

You’llwork closely with business and technology teams to gather requirements,profile source systems, anddesign data flows that meet operational and strategic needs. From documenting metadata and transformation logic to creating test cases andvalidatingdata quality,you’llhelp deliver trusted data for the entire organization.

WhatYou’llDo Partner with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into data solutions. Profile source systems and understand data models to design efficient integrations. Document metadata, transformation rules, and lineage for transparency and compliance. Develop and execute test cases tovalidatedata quality and integrity. Build andmaintainautomated processes for data validation and reporting. Collaborate with end users to ensure delivered data meets business needs. Stay ahead of trends in modern datastack,AI, andautomation to drive innovation.

WhatWe’reLooking For 2+years experienceor strong academic background with SQL and Python skills. 2+ years in data analysis, integration, or related areas. 2+ years with leadership in projects or mentoring others. Bachelor’s degree in data, analytics, business, or related field. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.

Technical Skills: Advanced SQLfordata profiling, transformation, and testing/validation. Python

for

automation and process improvements . Exposure to

modern data stack tools

such as

dbt,Databricks, andGCP . Familiarity with

AI concepts and prompt engineering is a plus. Business SkillsStrong ability to gather requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and document processes. Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Visa Sponsorship This Data Analyst position is currently not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). Location: This position is fully in office (5 days a week) at the Zions Technology Center – 7860 South Bingham Junction Blvd, Midvale, UT 84047.

The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah. Located on the former Sharon Steel Mill superfund site, the sustainably built campus will be the company’s primary technology and operations center. This modern and environmentally friendly technology center will enable Zions to continue to compete for the best technology talent in the state while providing team members with an exceptional work environment with features such as:
