Use Python, C++, and machine‑learning and computer‑programming assisted tools to support the development of algorithms to analyze the co‑movement of asset returns across global markets. Conduct academic research on statistics, machine learning, and the optimization of low‑latency live trading C++ platform code. Use C++, Python, and statistical methods to diagnose errors and make improvements to tools and platforms used for research‑grade algorithmic trading. Conduct research on novel machine‑learning techniques and statistical modeling in trading strategies to improve order placement. Mentor algorithm engineers in the design and troubleshooting of distributed statistical‑machine‑learning systems in Python and in‑hand optimization of C++ code. Create distributed high‑performance statistical analysis features for implementation in a hybrid of C++ and Python, and drive adoption of those features across the organization. Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 6 months of experience in a position such as Algorithm Engineer or related experience. Experience using C++ and Python to diagnose errors and improve distributed tools and platforms. Experience testing, troubleshooting, and modifying software applications to resolve operational issues. Experience with optimization of hybrid C++/Python distributed systems.
