Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Dillon, South Carolina. This is a well-structured 7-on/7-off program with strong physician support, a manageable census, and a collaborative clinical culture.

Assignment Snapshot
Location: Dillon, South Carolina Facility Type: Community Hospital (Rural) Start Date: March 31 or April 1 Orientation: March 30 or March 31 Contract Type: Locum Tenens Schedule:
7 on / 7 off Schedule cycle runs Tuesday – Monday Onsite coverage 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
EMR: Epic
Coverage & Call Structure
Hospitalist Coverage:
2 Hospitalists onsite at all times No APP coverage
Call Model:
Call alternates every other day/night 24-hour call coverage (7a–7p), except Mondays Physician on call handles:
All ED admissions Floor calls
Transition of Call:
Incoming physician assumes call Monday evening at 7:00 PM Call transitions Tuesday morning at 7:00 AM
Clinical Environment
Average Daily Census (Service): ~21 patients Per-Physician Census: ~10–22 patients/day ICU:
Open ICU (6 beds) Low acuity Procedures preferred but not required
Required Clinical Skills:
EKG interpretation Stress test interpretation
Meetings:
Daily multidisciplinary rounds (Monday–Friday)
Housing:
Onsite physician call house available
Candidate Requirements
Board Status: Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine Licensure:
Active South Carolina medical license Active CSR
DEA:
Must be eligible for permanent South Carolina registration
Experience: Prior hospitalist experience preferred
