Tax Manager
to join their growing team. This is for motivated professionals who thrive in a collaborative environment and is looking to take ownership of client relationships, lead engagements, and grow into a leadership role. What You’ll Do: Manage and review a wide range of tax returns, from simple to complex, including individual and business returns Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic tax guidance and exceptional service Supervise and mentor staff and senior accountants, reviewing their work and supporting their development Prepare and review complex returns as needed Contribute to firm growth and succession planning, with a clear path to equity ownership What You Bring: Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation or LLM a plus) Active CPA license (or strong progress toward licensure) 3–8+ years of public accounting experience, with a strong focus on business tax Experience managing client relationships and leading engagements Strong technical knowledge of U.S. tax code and multi-state filings Hybrid schedule: 3+ days in-office (more during onboarding and busy season) Busy season: ~50 hours/week; off-season: standard business hours (Friday OFF) Supportive, team-oriented culture with an open-door policy Opportunity to build and manage your own book of business within the firm Apply through this post or reach out to me directly on LinkedIn / Email: arran.smith@cmc-partners.com Seniority level
