Dynomax Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team. As a leader in precision machining and injection molding specifically tailored for the aerospace and defense sectors, we strive to maintain a cutting-edge production environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality outputs, and contributing to the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing techniques. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities. Design and test manufacturing processes by applying knowledge in product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials. Coordinate all aspects of production methods, including layout, machine operation, and assembly protocols. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure efficient procurement of materials and parts. Analyze and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout for optimal efficiency. Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished products, and confirming manufacturing processes. Provide engineering support in production and troubleshoot any potential problems. Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Strong knowledge of CAD software and mathematical computing tools like MATLAB. Experience with composite materials and precision machining. Proven ability to work with electronic and pneumatic tools. Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc. Proficiency in process improvement, troubleshooting, and lean manufacturing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Lean Manufacturing Certification preferred. Certification in Six Sigma or similar quality control methodology is highly advantageous.
