Executive Chef , you will lead all culinary operations for the healthcare dining account, ensuring high-quality foodservice that meets patient, retail, and clinical standards. You will manage and mentor a team of culinary associates while maintaining strict compliance with food safety, sanitation, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary management team that includes procurement, retail, patient services, and clinical leadership. A Sous Chef will report directly to this role.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all culinary operations across patient dining, retail, and catering services Plan, develop, and execute menus that align with therapeutic diet requirements and patient satisfaction goals Ensure compliance with healthcare food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards Manage food and labor costs, budgets, and expenditure controls Purchase food and supplies and manage inventory efficiently Lead, train, and develop the culinary team to support quality and consistency Implement new culinary and wellness programs in partnership with the culinary and marketing teams Support special events, catering, and high-volume production as required in an acute care setting Preferred Qualifications
Culinary degree preferred Three to five years of culinary management experience, preferably in healthcare or institutional foodservice Proven experience with high-volume food production and catering Strong background in food and labor cost control Experience working collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Desire to grow professionally within a leading healthcare foodservice organization
