Specific Skills : Perform internal quality assurance reviews for inpatient coding to ensure compliance with national guidelines and organizational policies Coordinate and deliver coding education, training sessions, and presentations to coding staff Respond to coding-related inquiries from HIM coding teams and leadership Conduct pre-bill, routine, policy-driven, and incentive-driven coding audits Assist Coding Leadership with root cause analysis of coding quality issues Support rebilling processes as required by policy Develop and maintain educational materials and training documentation Monitor QA trends and identify opportunities for process improvement and coder education Coach and mentor coding staff to enhance accuracy, consistency, and productivity Maintain ≥95% accuracy and ≥95% productivity standards Participate in special projects, audits, and reviews as assigned Stay current with coding guidelines, regulatory updates, and industry best practices Minimum 5 years

acute care inpatient facility coding
