Come join our growing team!! Blue Star Psychology & Consulting is a rewarding, growing practice currently booking 3-4 months out for testing services for
adult
clients.
We are excited to have new opportunities for a LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST trained in neuropsychological testing/assessment with adult and older adult populations!
This position can be
contract, part time, or full time , and is
for
testing services only (no counseling) .
About us: Our practice offers neuropsychological assessment and counseling services to clients experiencing chronic medical and/or neurological issues including brain or spinal cord injury, stroke, cancer, seizure disorder, MS, Parkinson’s, dementia, diabetes, and related issues. We engage with and sponsor local community organizations like the Dallas Area Parkinson’s Foundation and the Dallas Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
We also foster growth in up and coming professionals in our field by providing practicum placements to doctoral level students and post-doctoral opportunities.
Our practitioners are like family, and we look forward to the opportunity to talk to you about your passion to work with this population! We foster growing skills with continuing education and didactic opportunities.
Tasks include: Intake evaluations, testing, and feedback sessions, report writing, and communication with families and referring providers. Intake and feedback sessions can be a hybrid of telehealth and in-office visits. You are welcome to work from home for report writing. We typically do not see patients on Fridays unless you choose to do so. Regular staff interaction, team meetings, and didactics.
Pay: Negotiable; compensated based on number of tests per week and part-time/full-time or contract status. Compensation is uncapped and can be up to 150,000+ per year; however we strongly encourage work/life balance! We have marketing in place and referrals from multiple physician resources to assist you in serving your desired number of clients.
Benefits for full time employees: include medical, dental, vision insurance generous paid time off paid holidays reimbursement for license renewals and CEU training We provide you with credentialing for insurance panels and staff for scheduling and billing administrative support.
Minimum qualifications: Licensed Psychologist- completion of a doctoral degree at an APA accredited program and licensure in the state of Texas At least one year of experience testing with adults.
