Schedule: Full-time; 5x8s or 4x10s; some weekends and holidays required
Position Details- Setting: Outpatient infusion + hospital-based consult work
- Support Staff: APPs, RNs, some MAs
- Visits: 8 10 patients/day
- Population: Adults
- Model: Highly autonomous; consult-style; independent visits
Responsibilities:
- Manage oncology patients from diagnosis through treatment
- Handle adverse reactions, transfers, and direct admissions
- Work closely with inpatient services
- Procedures: None required; line removal preferred
- EMR: EPIC
- 2 3 years oncology experience (specific disease group management)
- Infusion experience preferred
- Must have inpatient or high-acuity oncology exposure (not considering outpatient-only)
- BMT or hematology experience accepted
- Certs: OCN/AOCNP preferred
