About the Position LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Oncology MD in Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49503!Flexible Block Scheduling - Ongoing Oncology Coverage in MichiganPractice SettingDedicated Outpatient setting with a focus on comprehensive cancer careExtensive support staff, including 5 APPs on the inpatient team and 5 APPs at the clinicParticipation and collaboration on a multidisciplinary Tumor BoardScheduleMonday through Friday, standard business hours (8a-5p)Light call rotation: 1 in 5 call ratio with weekday evening telephone callWeekend rounding is supported by an advanced practice provider (APP)Procedures and CasesPerform FNA/Biopsy procedures as required for patient diagnosis and treatmentActive role in ordering all necessary tests, images, and prescribing medicationsFocus on Adult and Geriatric patient populationsRequirementsBoard Certification or Board Eligibility (within 5 years) in OncologyPrefer Active Michigan State LicensureMust hold active BLS CertificationCase log demonstrating experience with FNA/Biopsy procedures is necessaryCredentialing RequirementsFull credentialing is a 90-day processTemporary Privileges Available to get you practicing sooner About CurativeFinding the right job shouldn’t be a hassle.
