Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes to support efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production. This position works cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to support daily operations as well as new product launches. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving real-world manufacturing challenges, improving processes, and partnering closely with production teams. Key Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes for assembly, fabrication, and system integration Partner with design engineers to ensure products are optimized for manufacturability (DFM/DFA) Create, maintain, and improve work instructions, assembly documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, including LEAN, 5S, and Kaizen activities Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to quality, efficiency, tooling, and workflow Analyze production data and perform root cause analysis to reduce waste, rework, and downtime Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance safety, reduce costs, and increase throughput Design and improve tools, fixtures, and jigs to support efficient and repeatable production Support New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts to ensure smooth and scalable production launches Provide technical support and hands-on training to assembly and production teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role (equipment or machinery manufacturing preferred) Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and assembly techniques Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software Working knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing documentation Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Hands-on, team-first mindset with the ability to work directly on the production floor Preferred Qualifications Experience with metal fabrication and equipment assembly Exposure to PLCs, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems Experience supporting a product line through its full lifecycle in a manufacturing environment6b250ea6-cee3-481d-915c-f7283f1b2f1b
