HR Administrative AssistantLocation: Gallatin, TNDepartment: People & Culture (Human Resources)Status: Full-Time | Onsite Join Our People & Culture TeamWe’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our People & Culture department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, thrives on accuracy and follow-through, and takes pride in supporting employees through important life and workplace events. You’ll play a key role in keeping HR processes compliant, organized, and employee-focused—particularly around leave administration, workers’ compensation documentation, and regulatory tracking. What You’ll DoAs the HR Administrative Assistant, you’ll provide administrative and coordination support across all HR functions, including: Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, directing inquiries appropriately Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires, including paperwork, I-9s, and system setup Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee files (paper and electronic) Support recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting with job postings Administer and track FMLA, ADA, and other leave-related documentation, ensuring timely paperwork, notices, and recordkeeping Assist with workers’ compensation claims administration, including incident documentation, claim reporting, follow-ups, and coordination with managers, insurance carriers, and medical providers Track employee acknowledgements, policy sign-offs, certifications, and compliance-related documentation Help coordinate training sessions, meetings, and employee communications Assist with employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and internal communications Support benefits administration tasks, including documentation, employee questions, and open enrollment preparation Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, reporting, filing, calendar management, and correspondence Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all employee-related matters What We’re Looking For1–3 years of administrative experience; HR, leave administration, or hospitality experience preferred Working knowledge of FMLA, workers’ compensation, and employee leave processes preferred Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Professional, approachable, and service-oriented communication style Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS experience a plus Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity, accountability, and teamwork Why You’ll Love Working HereBe part of a collaborative, supportive People & Culture team Opportunity to build hands-on experience in HR compliance and employee relations Work in a relationship-driven, service-focused culture Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (if applicable) 401(k) with company match (if applicable) Paid Time Off & Holidays Employee meals and club privileges Professional growth and development opportunities Ready to Apply?If you’re detail-driven, people-focused, and interested in supporting employees through key HR processes with care and professionalism, we encourage you to apply.
