Crossover, Palo Alto, California, United States
Regional Director of Family Engagement, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
LOCATION NOTE: This is an on‑site position based in one of the cities listed below, with regional travel as required. Relocation support is provided.
Alpha is not a conventional school. Students complete their foundational academics in two hours daily through AI‑driven applications. The remainder of their time is devoted to real‑world competencies—public speaking, analytical reasoning, collaborative problem‑solving, and meaningful project work. No traditional lectures. No redundant assignments. Only accelerated progress and outcomes in the top 1% nationally.
The role places you at the forefront of transforming education. As the public face of a single campus, you will drive enrollment growth, build community trust, and cultivate active advocacy. Your responsibilities extend beyond enrollment: you will be the primary resource for families throughout their Alpha experience—answering questions, strengthening commitment, and turning parents into vocal advocates for the model.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the complete parent relationship lifecycle—from initial inquiry through sustained engagement for a single campus.
Leading persuasive information sessions and individual meetings that transform interested parents into dedicated supporters.
Acting as the main parent liaison—addressing concerns, increasing satisfaction, and ensuring every family feels acknowledged and supported after enrolling at Alpha.
Establishing credibility and presence through consistent on‑site engagement, local partnerships, and targeted outreach.
Mobilizing parent champions to drive referrals and expand community influence.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Using formulaic sales methods or impersonal communication.
Handing off relationship‑building responsibilities to campus staff or operating from the sidelines.
Allowing organized parent coalitions to compromise or dilute Alpha's educational approach.
Working remotely from a desk—this position is deeply integrated into the parent and community experience.
Qualifications
Currently live within commuting range of one of these campuses, or prepared to relocate to: San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; Roswell, GA; Bethesda, MD; Charlotte, NC; Austin, TX; Brownsville, TX; Fort Worth, TX; or Kirkland, WA.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
5+ years of experience engaging families in educational outreach or enrollment contexts.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
Demonstrated capacity to build trust and facilitate informed, high‑stakes decision‑making.
Strong conviction in Alpha's accelerated, high‑expectation educational model.
