Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Headache Program Division of Pain (40hr)

Position Summary/ Department Summary:Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Headache Program, Department of Anesthesia, Division of Pain MedicineKey Responsibilities:Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team to provide care to children, adolescents and young adults with headaches and migrainesAccountability for care of patients with headaches and migraines including Injections, follow up appoints and phone triage Working 10-hour days Monday through Fridays. Minimum QualificationsEducation:A master’s degree in nursingExperience:3-5 years’ experience in a pediatric setting, ideally with a pediatric intensive care backgroundExcellent critical thinking skillsMeticulous attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills, and superb collaborative skillsLicensure/ Certifications:A current MA NP license: Pediatric or Family Nurse PractitionerBLS and PALS certification**Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 for full-time (40 hours) APP hires (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)**appBCHThe posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
