This position is located at Beavercreek, OH (Dayton, OH)./ppRoles and Responsibilities:/pulliPerform design and development of complex high speed digital circuit card assemblies integrating FPGAs and microprocessors through high-speed serial networks/liliTake designs from concept through schematic capture, layout, assembly, debug, and production test/liliCollaborate with peers and other engineering disciplines in the planning, design, and prototyping of complex digital systems/liliIdentify and implement risk reduction activities for your projects/liliInterface with vendors and contractors/liliAdvise others through design reviews and implementation of industry best practices/liliWork under general direction to independently determine and develop viable solutions/liliDefine system and CCA level specifications from dynamic, loose requirements/li/ulpThis position will serve 100% on-site in Beavercreek, OH. There is no remote work./ppBasic Qualifications for Associate Electronic Hardware Design Engineer:/pulliCompleted Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)/liliHands on use of laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes and function generators/liliAbility to solder and modify prototypes to prove a working design/liliAbility to create test plans and assembly instructions/liliCandidate must be a US Citizen/liliClearance: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary level of US Government security clearance per customer requirements/li/ulpBasic Qualifications for Electronic Hardware Design Engineer:/pulliBachelors degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of experience or a Masters degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience./liliHands on use of laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes and function generators/liliAbility to solder and modify prototypes to prove a working design/liliAbility to create test plans and assembly instructions/liliCandidate must be a US Citizen/liliClearance: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary level of US Government security clearance per customer requirements/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliActive TS/SCI with Polygraph/liliFull custom circuit card design cycle (concept through production) experience involving FPGAs, DDR memory, high speed serdes, and microprocessors/liliExperience defining interfaces with software teams for microprocessors/microcontrollers/liliExperience with test equipment such as DMM, BERT scopes, network analyzers and signal analyzers/liliSchematic capture and layout using Mentor Graphics Xpedition tools/liliHigh speed digital signal integrity simulation using Hyperlynx, HFSS, or ADS/liliExperience developing embedded software and software using C, C++/liliExperience RTL development using SystemVerilog/liliFamiliarity with AMD FPGAs and design tools/liliStrong verbal/written communication and presentation skills/liliProject leadership/li/ulpPrimary Level Salary Range: $69,300.00 - $103,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
