Hightop Health is expanding, and we are pleased to offer an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Recruiter to further elevate their talent acquisition expertise while playing a critical role in clinician hiring. This role has a strong focus on physician and advanced practice provider recruitment, particularly within behavioral health. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring high‑caliber clinical professionals, including psychiatric physicians (MD/DO), advanced practice providers and therapists, who align with Hightop Health’s mission, values, and commitment to exceptional patient care.
The Clinical Recruiter partners closely with the Director of Clinical Recruitment & Onboarding Experience to advance a clinician‑centric recruiting strategy that supports Hightop Health’s continued growth. This role owns the full recruitment lifecycle and works collaboratively with clinical leadership, HR, operations, and credentialing teams to deliver a thoughtful, high‑touch candidate experience and timely, high‑quality hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full‑cycle recruitment for assigned clinical roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer support, and acceptance.
Proactively source candidates with a hunter mindset using job boards, professional associations, academic and residency/fellowship programs, networking, social media, direct outreach, and direct mail.
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future clinical needs across target markets.
Design and execute outreach campaigns to engage both active and passive candidates, highlighting Hightop Health’s clinician‑centric culture.
Partner with the Director of Clinical Recruitment & Onboarding Experience to align recruiting strategies with workforce plans and growth goals.
Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, HR, and credentialing teams to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and hiring timelines.
Serve as a primary point of contact for hiring managers, providing regular updates on search progress, candidate pipelines, and time‑to‑fill expectations.
Participate in recruitment events such as job fairs, conferences, and virtual information sessions.
Maintain accurate recruitment data and documentation within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Stay current on clinical hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive market dynamics.
Qualifications
Remote role; preference for candidates located near Hightop Health clinic locations in Georgia or Texas .
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum 2+ years of physician recruiting experience required, with a strong closing track record; experience recruiting psychiatrists and APPs strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success sourcing and closing passive candidates using advanced sourcing techniques, cold calling, research, and market intelligence.
Experience in a startup, high‑growth, or private‑equity‑backed environment is a plus.
Proficiency with ATS platforms, HRIS systems, social media recruiting, and third‑party sourcing tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
Professional, dependable, and comfortable engaging with candidates and leaders at all levels.
Action‑oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, growth‑focused organization.
Willingness to travel occasionally to clinic locations, job fairs, and conferences (up to 25%).
Physical / Environmental Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and working at a computer.
Frequent phone and video communication.
Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting up to 20 lbs (e.g., recruitment materials, laptop, event supplies).
Work is primarily performed in a remote or office environment with frequent virtual interaction.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $90,000–$100,000, with bonus potential.
Compensation based on experience, education, and geographic location.
