Job Title: Assistant Front Office Manager
Assistant Front Office Manager at robinson-willey – responsible for assisting the Front Desk Manager in all aspects of the Front Office in accordance with resort standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in daily front office operations, including guest check‑in/check‑out, reservations, and guest services.
Supervise front desk agents, bell, valet, door, PBX, and concierge staff.
Maintain knowledge of resort policies, rates, and guest profiles, and ensure staff adherence.
Review and manage reservations, room assignments, and overbooking situations.
Oversee cashiering procedures and daily financial reports.
Conduct shift meetings, staff training, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate with housekeeping, food services, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experience.
Manage inventory of supplies, logs, and equipment.
Implement guest service policies, resolve complaints, and ensure high guest satisfaction.
Prepare weekly schedules, monitor labor costs, and submit reports to management.
Ensure safety, security, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Essential
High school graduation or equivalent vocational training; some college.
Minimum 2 years experience as a Front Desk Supervisor, preferably at a 5‑star resort.
Previous cashiering experience.
Fluency in English (verbal and written).
Basic arithmetic skills.
Familiarity with yield management and cost controls.
Ability to operate property management systems, computers, and point‑of‑sale systems.
Desirable
College degree.
Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish.
CPR certification.
Previous supervisory experience.
Suggestive selling skills.
Guest relations training.
Physical Abilities
Frequent standing and walking throughout shift.
Ability to reach overhead and lift up to 60 pounds.
Endurance for periods of standing or walking up to 8 hours.
