Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Packaging Operator 1 to join their team. As a Packaging Operator 1, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: US - Packaging Operator 1 Location: St. Louis, MO Shift: 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm Duration: 12+ Months contract What's the Job? Operate processing equipment such as clean out of place (COP), clean in place (CIP), and label lines Perform production operations including packaging, testing, and equipment setup Conduct routine cleaning of manufacturing rooms and equipment Manage waste disposal and ensure proper labeling of all in-process materials Document process status and communicate deviations to supervisors What's Needed? High School Diploma or equivalent Experience with SAP or similar systems Mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds Willingness to work in a production environment with shift flexibility, including day/night schedules What's in it for me?
