Our client, a well-established regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join its Uniondale office on a hybrid basis.
This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct collaboration with experienced litigators, and exposure to a broad range of complex commercial disputes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed legal research and provide strategic analysis in support of active litigation matters
Draft and review litigation documents, including complaints, answers, motions, and memoranda
Work closely with senior attorneys on case development, strategy, and execution
Appear in court, attend hearings, and assist with negotiations and dispute resolution efforts
Maintain regular communication with clients and contribute to strong, long-term client relationships
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar
Minimum of 2 years of experience handling commercial litigation matters in New York, with exposure to areas such as contract and partnership disputes, bankruptcy-related litigation, class actions, securities matters, or consumer protection
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Federal clerkship
Law journal or similar academic involvement
Strong academic credentials
Annual base compensation for this role is expected to be between $120,000 to $155,000 commensurate with experience.
