OVERVIEW
The DevOps Engineer supports the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines. This role collaborates closely with software development and engineering teams to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency across development and deployment environments. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and problem solver with hands‑on experience supporting cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
DUTIES
Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Assist with automating build, deployment, and release processes to improve consistency and efficiency
Design and implement infrastructure and DevOps solutions that support software development teams
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, recommend, and implement DevOps best practices
Develop and maintain build, deployment, and environment documentation to support knowledge sharing and operational continuity
Support cloud-based infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance
Assist with system updates, patches, and routine maintenance activities
Support containerization, automation, and configuration management initiatives as needed
Help identify and troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, or performance issues
Participate in process improvements related to automation, reliability, and scalability
Work collaboratively within a cross‑functional engineering environment to support project goals and timelines
Perform other duties as assigned in support of project and business needs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Strong DevOps knowledge in an Enterprise setting
Windows/PowerShell Command Line/Scripting
CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance experience
Cloud based providers (AWS) experience
Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
Good knowledge of Jenkins, Docker and Windows Server administration
Demonstrates very good written and oral presentation skills and outstanding client‑interaction skills
Think creatively and demonstrates the ability to work independently on a complex task with little direction, supervision, and management oversight
Highly motivated, a self‑starter, and able to work alone or in groups
AWS experience highly desired, understanding of AWS basic Services are required
ASP.NET framework a plus
Docker and Ansible Tower a plus
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working within an AWS FedRAMP compliant hosting environment a plus, not required
PowerShell scripting a plus, not required
Salary Range: $120,000 to $140,000 per year
