Job Summary Join our Danbury, CT Supply Chain team as a Senior Procurement Compliance Analyst. This position ensures that DRS purchasing aligns with internal policies, laws (FAR/DFAR for government contractors), and ethical standards, focusing on risk mitigation, audit support (CPSR), process improvement, training and involving advanced systems and data analysis to optimize spending and maintain integrity in supply chains.

What You Will Do

Policy Enforcement: Monitoring procurement activities to ensure adherence to company rules and external regulations

Risk & Audit: Supporting government contractor reviews (CPSR), managing compliance trends, and handling corrective actions

Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing ways to make procurement more efficient, ethical, and compliant

Training: Developing and delivering procurement compliance training to staff

Data Analysis: Using data to analyze spending, identify risks, and support strategic sourcing decisions

Vendor Management: Ensuring vendors meet compliance standards and resolving issues

Small Business reporting: Develop and implement subcontracting plans, ensures adherence to FAR/DFARS, and submits required reports (like IAE/FPDS) to agencies (SBA, DCMA)

Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field

8+ years of experience in procurement, with specific knowledge of government contracting (FAR/DFAR) for federal roles

Proficiency with procurement software (Cost Point, SAP, Oracle) and contract management systems

Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve complex problems

Detail-oriented, excellent communication, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
