POSITION SUMMARY: The Membership & Wellness Director takes a leading role in building relationships with members and program participants through effective customer service and directs all membership, wellness, and events for the branch including recruitment of new members, retention of existing members and supervision of assigned staff. The Membership & Wellness Director is also responsible for providing oversite and direction to wellness/fitness center operations.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three to five years of experience in a membership and fitness related environment.
Ability to administer and support fitness and group exercise programs.
Customer Service Experience.
Flexibility in work schedule and expectations to work evenings and weekends.
Supervisory Experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
Ability to work collaboratively with directors to achieve strategic goals.
