This is a senior, hands-on engineering role focused on building and scaling a modern data platform that supports a systematic, multi-asset investment process.
You’ll help design and operate the core data infrastructure used across research, portfolio management, and trading — enabling teams to work with large, complex datasets at scale. The role combines platform engineering, data modeling, and production support, with a strong emphasis on reliability and extensibility.

What You’ll Be Working On
Designing and building a scalable investment data platform Developing frameworks and patterns to onboard new datasets and metrics Ensuring data quality, validation, and operational robustness Supporting daily production jobs tied to the investment process Collaborating with data, research, and technology teams on platform evolution Participating in design reviews to ensure clean integration with downstream systems Building well-tested, maintainable, and extensible solutions What They’re Looking For
Strong experience in software and data platform engineering Advanced Python skills for analytical and platform development Strong SQL and data modeling capabilities Deep understanding of different data storage patterns and trade-offs Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and containerised environments Familiarity with modern data platforms, databases, and orchestration tools Clear communicator with strong analytical judgment Background
Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline Senior-level experience building and supporting data platforms Track record of owning systems in production environments Why This Role
