The ArcGIS Analyst will act as an additional member of the application support team, providing hands‑on support for ESRI ArcGIS upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing application support. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting GIS applications, managing spatial data, and assisting with ArcGIS migrations to cloud platforms such as AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support GIS applications using ESRI ArcGIS technology

Assist with ESRI ArcGIS upgrades and application support activities

Manage, analyze, and maintain spatial data ensuring accuracy, integrity, and accessibility

Implement and support GIS architecture including ArcGIS Server and geodatabase solutions

Perform geoprocessing, mapping, and cartographic procedures

Integrate spatial and non‑spatial data using SQL Server or Oracle databases

Plan, configure, and manage geodatabases, including performance tuning and optimization

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS applications and services

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate GIS solutions with existing systems

Migrate ArcGIS environments from on‑premises infrastructure to AWS or other cloud platforms

Perform shell scripting on Linux to support GIS automation and system tasks

Design user‑friendly presentations and training materials for technical and non‑technical users

Conduct GIS‑related workshops or knowledge‑sharing sessions

Address complex spatial problems and recommend effective GIS‑based solutions

Stay current with emerging GIS technologies, tools, and best practices

Required Skills:

Hands‑on experience with ESRI ArcGIS technology

Strong ability to manage and analyze spatial data

Knowledge of SQL Server or Oracle databases

Familiarity with geoprocessing, mapping, and cartographic procedures

Experience migrating ArcGIS environments to cloud platforms such as AWS

Expertise in Shell scripting on Linux

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented application support environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience with geodatabase management and performance tuning

Experience creating training materials and delivering workshops or seminars

Education: Degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
