R15918**Job Description:**We’re actively seeking a talented Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Consumer Markets Division in Newport Beach, CA.
As a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by ensuring software quality by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans (manual & automated) and identifying and documenting defects while collaborating with development teams to improve reliability, performance, and user satisfaction. Key duties include test strategy, leading automation, complex scenario testing, defect management, performance/security testing, and communicating quality metrics to stakeholders. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 10 people in the Technology division. Your colleagues will include Analysts and Developers working in a collaborative Agile environment.**How you’ll help move us forward:*** Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts, frameworks, and programs for testing.* Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.* Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.* Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.* Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.* Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.* Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.* Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.**The experience you bring:*** 5+ years of experience* 4-year degree or equivalent experience* Experience with auto-test creation and execution**What makes you stand out:*** Experience working within an Agile software development environment* Financial Industry Experience**You can be who you are.**Instagram.com/lifeatpacificlife#LI-EH2**Base Pay Range:**The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
