Role Description The General Manager, Performance Films, is responsible for defining the overall strategic direction and overseeing operational results of the global Performance Films business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Select, coach, and retain a diversified and inclusive high-performing team

Lead global cross-functional business team (SBU LT) to ensure a Zero Incident Mindset, prioritizing safety and compliance

Drive profitability and growth through creating a strong vision, mobilizing resources, providing candid feedback and coaching, ensuring the team demonstrates the right competencies and behaviors to deliver strong business and company outcomes

Oversees strategy development and growth portfolio management through integrated growth and brand strategies

Drive communication of the vision and strategy, inspire and set expectation levels for all business organization members

Maintain deep awareness of the external environment including markets, new industry developments and standards, channel partners, customers, opportunities for expansion, industry structure and competitive landscape

Ensure profitable and scalable regional servicing models to deliver consistent and differentiated consumer experience

Active member of the Division Leadership Team (DLT) which is defining the vision and strategy for the Films Division and ensuring alignment around appropriate investments and resources decisions

Leads the cross-functional leadership team with representation from designated functional areas based on needs

Lead globally, execute through regional operating model, driving empowerment and accountability of regional leaders

Translate vision into actionable go-to-market strategies and product roadmaps

Lead integrated marketing strategies to efficiently drive demand

Develop the Growth Portfolio and manage the Stage-Gate reviews

Scale operations, fulfillment, and customer service to meet growing demand without compromising quality

Develops multi-year targets and leads business performance reviews

Develops annual goals, targets and objectives

Owns balanced scorecard and profit and loss for the business

Makes recommendations on resources and capabilities needed and manages capital, R&D and SGA spend within budgets

Responsible for identifying talent needs, developing, and coaching the talent to deliver the business objectives and strategy

Creates a high performing and inclusive culture that enables everyone to contribute to their fullest potential

Required Education and Experience

Experience leading large, complex businesses

Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in strategy, commercial, technology, marketing, operations, and/or the enabling functions required

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field required; MBA degree preferred

Prior experience leading large complex businesses and cross functional teams with strong regional/cultural affinity

Experience in business with Direct and Distribution market strategies and B2C environments

Profit & loss leadership

Strong financial/business acumen

Experience developing and executing business strategy

Extensive knowledge of global markets / customers

Value-based selling and negotiation skills

Demonstrated deep expertise at least two commercial functional roles (e.g. marketing, sales, corporate strategy, procurement, or pricing / management)

Up to 50% travel to support regional teams
