Salary Range: Hiring range is $159,956 to $195,947 annually DOQ; full salary range up to $231,937.
Responsibilities Reporting to the City Manager, the Finance Director serves as the City Treasurer and is responsible for the management of the Finance Department staff in all accounting, financial reporting, treasury, revenue collecting, licensing, payroll, accounts payable, sales/use tax, utility billing, debt management, and risk management activities for the City of Golden. The Director also oversees the Fleet Department and leads a team of 16 FTEs with 2 direct reports: the Deputy Finance Director and Fleet Manager.
