We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile App Developer with strong backend experience to help develop and maintain our cross‑platform mobile application.
Role Overview We are seeking a contract, remote Mobile App Developer with proven experience building and deploying mobile applications on Apple App Store and Google Play Store using React Native. This role is backend‑leaning, with a strong focus on APIs, data handling, performance, and system integrations, while still being comfortable working within a mobile UI codebase.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native.
Lead backend‑related mobile development, including:
API integration and architecture.
Authentication and authorization flows.
Data modeling, storage, and synchronization.
Collaborate with backend services (Node.js, Firebase, AWS, or similar).
Ensure apps are production‑ready and successfully deployed to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
Debug, test, and maintain existing features.
Work closely with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Implement best practices for mobile architecture, code quality, and CI/CD pipelines.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience developing mobile applications.
Strong hands‑on experience with React Native.
Proven experience deploying apps to iOS and Android app stores.
Strong backend experience (e.g., Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, Firebase, AWS, or similar).
Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and state management.
Experience with third‑party APIs and SDKs.
Familiarity with Git‑based workflows.
Ability to work independently in a remote, contract‑based environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with fintech, payments, or security‑focused applications.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.
Experience with performance monitoring and analytics tools.
Familiarity with TypeScript.
