Job Description Our client is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner with deep Employee Relations expertise to lead complex and sensitive workforce matters. This role combines hands‑on employee relations leadership with strategic HR business partnering, helping guide leaders through investigations, risk mitigation, and people strategy initiatives.

This position is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in high‑stakes situations, advises executives with confidence, and balances strategic insight with practical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary expert on complex employee relations matters, including sensitive and high‑risk investigations

Provide trusted guidance to leaders and managers on compliance, performance issues, and corrective actions

Monitor trends, identify organizational risks, and recommend proactive, data‑informed solutions

Develop, implement, and refine employee relations policies, tools, and frameworks for consistent application

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Legal, Finance, and HR teams to support enterprise‑wide initiatives

Act as an HR Business Partner to leadership, advising on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and performance management

Coach leaders on conflict resolution, communication, and effective people management practices

Support change management and workforce transitions with an emphasis on fairness, compliance, and culture

Lead and mentor a small team of HR professionals focused on employee relations and investigations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Must have government contracting or Department of Defense (DoD) experience

Must have a strong background supporting global employee populations

10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant senior‑level employee relations leadership

Extensive experience leading complex workplace investigations in regulated environments

Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders

Experience managing and developing direct reports
