This position will have oversight over a small team focusing on all responsibilities within commercial lines pricing and reserving and will contribute to the Senior Leadership Team.Your responsibilities will include:* Lead the actuarial component of the company’s planning processes.* Lead the vision, growth, and implementation of advanced analytics.* Innovate and improve actuarial and analytics capabilities; adapt and develop rating methodologies for competitive advantage.* Partner closely with the Underwriting, Finance, and Claims teams.* Participate in enterprise risk management initiatives.* Develop talent, motivate, and inspire through frequent and specific feedback.* Perform advanced analytics and modelling techniques using tools like SAS, R, Pretium, Emblem, and stochastic simulation techniques.* Identify, retrieve, and prepare data for actuarial analysis using SQL, Essbase, and other data sources.* Lead rate review, ratemaking, and actuarial indications.* Prepare loss and expense reserves estimates.* Implement advanced analytics for improved accuracy and efficiency; support the development of Tableau reporting and analytical tools/models. #J-18808-Ljbffr
