Job Title: Staff Data Product Manager

Location: Glendale, CA (Onsite 4 days/week)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Employment Type: W2 Contract

Overview

We are seeking a Staff Data Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of data products that power Technology initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep experience in product management, data engineering workflows, and stakeholder engagement across a matrixed organization. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for data products, from discovery and requirements gathering to roadmap definition, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable product requirements .
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to guide data ingestion, transformation, and modeling for datasets of varying complexity and scale.
  • Lead the design and implementation of reporting, dashboards, and analytics products serving Studio Technology.
  • Conduct stakeholder demos, roadmap reviews, and backlog grooming in alignment with Agile ceremonies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure value delivery and alignment .

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, including roadmap planning and stakeholder management.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional data initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering and analytics workflows , including ingestion, modeling, and visualization.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with both executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience writing user stories, creating test plans, and validating datasets .
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing multiple teams and working with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix-style organization without direct reports.
  • Polished communication skills for executive-level interactions .

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree + 5 years of relevant experience required.
