Canon U.S.A., Inc. in Melville, NY is seeking a Business Support Assistant IV (Assistant, Business Support IV) to handle advanced order processing of internal, domestic, and export transactions that impact revenue recognition within a shared service operation spanning multiple sales channels.
Workstyle Description Full‑time hybrid schedule: in office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays; option to work from home the remainder of the week unless business needs differ.
Your Impact Works closely with Sales Contract Administration, Sales Support, and Business Planning to resolve issues related to chargebacks and overall order processing. Integrates operational functions to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness across processes.
Verifies inventory, pricing and enters order adjustments with other charges promptly.
Checks for back orders and partial shipments.
Assists clients with inquiries, resolves problems and complaints.
Ensures follow‑up on the order processing cycle.
Reviews status of orders via sales reports, reservations, shipping deadlines, monthly closings, daily emissions, and allocations.
Requests special shipping instructions, ensuring immediate emissions/delivery and coordinates with Logistics Department.
Coordinates with Account Executives regarding status, requirements, conditions, funds verification, and credit limits of distributors.
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; 4–6 years of related experience.
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
Proficient in MS Office.
Strong communication skills.
Salary range: $27.88 – $41.75 hourly.
